Can we start planning New Years? Since school started its actually all I can think about. I feel like so many of us are planning on coming to New York, but we don't really have a plan. I don't know exactly what planning would consist of, but I just wanted to see if anybody else was thinking about it and just put it out there if your not.
Also, Ian, I think day 69 is a good day to share. Just sayin. I think a lot of us agree....
Dunno why, all there is to say is that a few people are anthrophobic. Fear of humans? It's a word. But yea, they freaked at the sight of pure humanity. Saw a few pictures--thumbnails of pictures, really--and just had to leave.
ReplyDeleteYES GUYS WE NEED TO START PLANNING THIS. PLEASE. airplaners out there need to get a handle on airfare really soon...
ReplyDeleteokay i honestly think that we can do pretty well making individual plans for the few days before and after new years eve. the one thing we need to nail down is:
ReplyDeleteIs any NYCer willing to host all 45 (hopefully) of us in their host for just one night???
Hopefully many of us will be able to come to New York for a couple days before or after New Years, but I think it will be okay if we are a little spread out over the city for sleeping arrangements on those days as long as we have that one night all together.
anyone?
spelling correction: host all 45 of us (hopefully) in their HOUSE for just one night??
ReplyDeleteYES i want to be together. can we have a quaker meeting too?
ReplyDeletei think it's gonna be really hard to get 45 people into one nyc apt but...if different ny people all take about 5-7 kiddies each we can work it out fine. there will be plenty of time to spend all together...too excited
ReplyDeletewait...so we wouldn't all be together on new years eve at least? we'd be spending the evening in individual houses?
ReplyDeleteno of course not. for the actual night of new years we're all going to be together whether its in someones house or central park watching the fireworks (even though it was 0 last new years) or anywhere else we are.
ReplyDeleteyeah... my apartment is small but i'd definitely take people to crash on the floor for the night (we can take over my sister's room haha)
ReplyDeleteand i agree that it'd be awesome to have a quaker meeting... just saying...
we could get some tarps and slumberfucks and set up in a near by forest
ReplyDeleteokay that makes more sense. ahhhhhhhhhh i'm so excited! central park would be swell
ReplyDeleteit's weird, but i know that lex wrote one of these comments, and it makes me happy that i know this.
ReplyDeleteThis is Charlotte, I will plan a poker party at my house dont worry.
