I was at a basketball court the other day watching some people 'make basketballs', as I believe the slang goes. I couldn't believe my eyes. They couldn't afford a chain, so they'd replaced it with what looked to be their shoelaces! And this on a private school campus! I was shocked that the trend had been bucked in such a way!
