But that's not what this post is about. This post is about the other new photo--the one with Kemi and Sue. This post is about how, when I pointed it out to my dad, he asked if that was Alden in the photo. No, I corrected. That's Sue. Sue Kruse, who wrote on the postcard in the envelope? That's not a man? was his response.
I am not making this up. I do not think he was joking.

That must've been weird for you... but at the same time I think that I had the same reaction when everyone filled out my survey and some people thought that one of the girls on it was a guy. It was bizarre to think that someone could've thought that she (my friend) was a different gender... because I know her and it's blatantly obvious to me that she is a girl, even just from the picture.
ReplyDeleteBut it's hard when someone's perception of a person you know is so blatantly wrong. It feels personal even if it isn't.
