I know that college decisions are beginning to roll in, and I just wanted to echo what Megan K. said right before we got our SAT scores. These are not a reflection on who we are at all, nor are they the be-all and end-all (gotta love some Macbeth quotage). No matter what happens, we have all shown an ability not only to deal with difficult and sucky situations, but to make them fun. We can do it again. This community is better than any college acceptance.

ReplyDeleteBut also, I know that Lex wants us to post on the group if we got in or not... but let's not get away with ourselves. It's one thing to tell us and it's another to post it as your status or go crazy, ya know? I just want us all to be reminded that we have to be mindful of others' feelings. I don't doubt that our group of amazing kids already knows this, but I just would like to highlight it...
I second both of those things, and I add my own good luck in there as well. :)

This kid at my school got into cornell and instantly posted it as his status and joined the cornell 2015 network. Such a no-no...
