Tuesday, March 9, 2010. At a rate of 3 days per week, we'll hit day 69 and its shenanigans on February 2nd. Can you two wait that long? In other news, I just printed out my ticket for a bus ride to New York! And... yea. Short day today.
Day 39
I did some E. Sci. in a free this morning, after a breakfast of toast and eggs, with cranberry-apple juice. That's Hallie's invention- she did cranberry-grape yesterday. Jack liked my essay- 93. In Farm Seminar we listened to a guy talk about bees. He spoke slowly, and it was not very interesting. I sat next to David and Charlotte. Lunch was, um... a thing. 3-bean salad? Some Caesar Salad? Sure, why not. Jay, Rachel, Zoe, Taylor, and Steph were on dish crew. Hallie was at a meeting, so I did the majority of cook's crew solo.
Bruceworks was next- Katja and I put together a cubby set for laying hens to put their nests in. I drilled 96 holes in wood blocks; then put them together with glue and screws. Precalc was fine- I learned some things. Becky, Hallie, Anika and I put problems up on the board. I did the last part of my problem wrong, but I corrected myself. In Spanish, David, Megan and I acted out a scene from La pistola, and then we watched a movie about Havana. There was minimal dialogue, and I sort of dozed off a bit. Dinner was potatoes, applesauce, pork chops, and cornbread. After dinner, I skyped with Arya some more... people interfered: Isaac, David, Matt, Charlotte... yea. Nora threw me an orange to peel since I moved up to the balcony. I threw it back, but she and Isaac did not catch it. I went back to Miles, read a weird English story about getting high with blind people. I'll start my History essay after this.
