Life's Choices

Very rarely in life will one event shape the rest of your life. Earlier this week a teacher at my school was caught with marijuana. He hasn't been fired yet, but its looking probable. The hypocrisy is that when a student is caught they get suspended for two days. When a beloved teacher is caught he will probably lose his job and never be able to teach again anywhere. So what you ask? Well he is the type of teacher who inspires students. He certainly inspires me.

I write this not to incite outrage with the system, or society, but because I want my good friends to remember that life is often frivolous; and sometimes life has a resolute finality to it. So you are on JV soccer instead of varsity will that change your life? Who the hell knows.

Ok I'm getting to that point where I'm not sure exactly what my point is and I'm rambling. Oh well. I'll cut myself off here with one addendum.

Notable Music in the past week:

I have to say Megan, this one made me tear up - Thank you.
